Fragile to Agile Engagement
Westminster had just completed a new strategic vision for the school and had outgrown its systems and applications and recognised the need for the revitalisation of its technology architecture to support this vision. Impressed by the success of the Fragile to Agile designed and governed transformation program at ME Bank, the school principal approached Fragile to Agile to develop a similar roadmap for the school.
Using our standard methodology, a Business Capability Model was developed and used to map the school’s current state architecture which informed an accompanying assessment. It was then used to develop a target state architecture and solution roadmap to transition to that state which consisted of 7 projects over an estimated 4-year term. The program was endorsed by the school senior leadership team and was then presented to the school council for funding approval in June 2016, which was granted. The first projects on the roadmap are currently being executed.
