About this event
Host and co-lead Yvette van Eenennaam will share her wealth of experience in managing change in complex stakeholder landscapes and how she applies this in leading the development of Adelaide’s $4.2 Billion Health Innovation District.
Yvette van Eenennaam has become a household name for managing complex change in Adelaide, since she moved from The Netherlands, 4 years ago.
Yvette is the General Manager of Adelaide BioMed City (ABMC), the burgeoning Health Innovation District in the heart of Adelaide. She is also the independent chair of the South Australian Genomics Centre (SAGC) and you may have come across Yvette as a judge for the Indaily 40 Under 40 awards and as a non executive advisory board member for the Australian-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (DutchSA).
Prior to moving to Adelaide, Yvette worked in Europe for Nike, Deloitte and ABN AMRO Bank, where she held senior leadership roles with responsibilities for strategy and organisational development, change management and innovation.

So, what can we learn in this first session of 2022?
We will get an idea of how we can tackle complex change challenges as required to bring together clinical and academic institutes with cutting edge research, R&D intensive companies, start-ups and business incubators to deliver social and economic impact through the convergence of emerging technologies, innovation, translation and commercialisation of scientific and health discoveries…
We will get the insider’s view into the strategy development and execution in Adelaide BioMed City’s diverse and complex stakeholder landscape, underpinned by Yvette’s vast theoretical knowledge and experience with leading high profile strategy processes and transformation programs. You can expect Yvette to cover the five stages of strategy development and execution with real life examples about goal-setting, analysis, strategy formation, implementation and monitoring.
And we may also hear a little bit more about Adelaide Biomed City, which includes the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, the SA Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the construction of the Australian Bragg Centre for Proton Therapy and Research.
