Our guest speaker is Bas Karsemeijer, Head of Data & Analytics of HEMA, one of the biggest variety stores in Europe, active in 11 countries with almost 800 stores.
Hema’s mission is to make daily life of their customers better, easier and more fun. Their assortment contains 30.000 products, all designed in house (“Made in Amsterdam”).
Like any other retailer Hema faces fierce competition of online pure players and value discounters.
In this webinar Bas will tell us how HEMA is leveraging data as a strategic asset to achieve their mission and be 24×7 relevant for their customers. Bas may also share how he and his team won the 2021 Customer Data Award.
We look forward to having a peek in the “data kitchen” of Hema and learn the secrets of getting more value from data and what is next for Hema. We are also keen to learn from Bas Karsemeyer which obstacles Hema had to overcome and what they would have done differently.
