Dealing with Difficult People

Now this is a topic that many can relate to. We’re excited to have someone from the field, with decades of hands on experience sharing techniques to be more effective with people we find difficult to deal with.

Kate Russell is the fearless leader and Director of The Huddle. She brings almost 30 years of experience as a conflict management specialist and team building mentor and is also a qualified mediator, skilled workshop facilitator, confident and engaging speaker and author of “Leaders Who Lead” a practical handbook for leaders who love their teams and want to be more effective as a leader.

Working extensively with leaders and teams across many different industries and business sizes, Kate has supported hundreds of people to build high levels of trust, communicate effectively and reduce stress (both their own and within teams) to create safe and dynamic workplaces.

Kate has previously managed a variety of teams herself and served on statutory panels including the Social Security Appeals Tribunal, Public Housing Authority and Child Support Agency.

As well as having a great sense of fun, Kate is sensitive to the needs of the group, likes to think outside the square and most importantly, is a fantastic listener.
