Chris Wood

Chris is a Lead Architect for Fragile to Agile. With real practitioner experience as both Enterprise Architect and a Solution Architect in several organisations, Chris understands how vital the bridge is between these two architecture domains in order to make the architecture actionable and deliver value to an organisation.

Chris began his career in software development. His ability to understand design concepts, exposure to a variety of technologies, and an ability to converse at ease with both business and technical communities led to a natural progression into the architecture domain. Chris quickly grasps ‘the big picture’ and yet retains the ability to pay attention to detail.

In addition to architecture, Chris has a keen interest in methodologies and best practices. His previous experience as a RUP Process Engineer and an IBM Method Exponent is evident through his contribution to the Fragile to Agile Conceptual Design Process.

Chris is an advocate of visual modelling, and is rarely happier than when using visual models to convey concepts to fellow architects and designers.
